The mission of inmate pen pal connection is to Minister to the prisoners as best we can through caring correspondences. Inmates are in need of friendship, Christian fellowship and a caring Christian friend. Mail is important to Prisoners. For some, Getting letters from the out side are the only light into there dark worlds. Some are forgotten and discouraged. Prisoners need correspondence because some of them have no one to write to. From Prisoners perspective, a PEN PAL can be a key element in Spiritual Growth and in Survival of the Brutal Prison Experience. You may be the only contact in the out side world. Families and Friends often stop writing and visiting. You have an opportunity to shine in the darkness of their lives just by writing and sharing an encouraging word.
